In 2001: At the start of the crisis, it is crucial for our clients to devise sustainable solutions on the market, stay competitive and be innovative. For Astek Group, this was the time to embark on a reflection in order to diversify its mode of delivery in developing solutions that will be conducive to the improvement of productivity and costs.

Since then, industrialization of development processes and reduction of production costs have been our priorities. Focus is on finding market solutions that will enable our clients to control their budgets while maintaining technical, functional and relational quality.

In 2003, Astek Group after 15 years of experience is mature enough to embark in the OFFSHORE adventure; the first offshore site is created in Mauritius with HP entrusting his first project to Astek Mauritius. The project will involve more than 25 Mauritian resources and a proximity front office in France. It is a success for HP.

Conditions are ideal in Mauritius: Available tailor trained resources (2 hours time difference), service value oriented, English-French bilingual and existing infrastructure matching those in France.

International recognition has quickly been achieved for astek Mauritius as a center of competence, low cost and good productivity. Six years later, astek Mauritius has over 20 clients to its credit and runs projects of 100 to 15 000 man-days, taking advantage of stable tariffs and resources (turn over close to 0).
